This years May Day celebrations was held at the Achiase Methodist School Park with staffs from four (4) different assemblies coming together to celebrate the day in the district. The theme for this year’s May day celebration was ELECTION 2024: “THE ROLE OF WORKERS AND SOCIAL PARTNERS IN SECURING PEACEFUL ELECTIONS FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT.
The celebration stated with an aerobics exercise at the Achiase jungle welfare school, then a float to the Methodist school park where they engaged themselves with indoor and outdoor games., like soccer, table tennis, draft, sack race etc.
The secretary of clogsag in Achiase in his speech congratulated all staff for their hard work, dedication and resilience. He went on by saying that strength lies in unity. Let us work together to build a future where every worker is valued, respected, and empower
