The CHPS Compound Facility and Rural Women and Children Resource Center at Apeadem Community was commissioned and handed over to the Community, the District Health Directorate (Ghana Health Service) and the Asene Manso Akroso District Assembly for it’s operationalization on Wednesday the 1st of February, 2023.
The founder and senior operations officer at ChildLift Aid Foundation, Steward Osei Bawuah handed over the facility which will serve the communities population of about 500 people as well as 11 surrounding villages.
He said the facility which was fully funded by the Childlift Aid Foundation (CAF) a Christian child development non-profit organisation, is expected to bring quality healthcare closer to the people of Apeadem and surrounding communities who have to travel long distances to access healthcare.
Miss Nana Aso Boateng, Asene Manso Akroso Director of Health highlighted on the quality partnership between Childlift Aid Foundation and the District Health Directorate.
The management of CAF expresses her profoundest gratitude to the Health Directorate, AMADA for the remarkable contributions towards the completion and commissioning of the CHPS Compound Facility. And pleaded with the people of Apeadem to take very good care of the facility.
